Hi, I'm Theo Removed and I am just about to begin my 3rd year of studying Modern and Medieval Languages (French and German) at the University of Cambridge. I am looking to gain some experience in tutoring, as for my year abroad I will be teaching English in Paris. I am fun, easy-going, very patient, and committed to helping others as best I can.
In addition, I am also able to offer advice regarding the Oxbridge admissions process for students looking to apply in the coming months.

Tutoring Experience

Last summer I worked on a French summer camp where I was one of the watersports instructors. I was responsible for teaching kayaking and paddle boarding to kids aged between 10 and 16. Although this wasn't necessarily academic, I gained experience in conveying information to others and helping others with new and unseen topics.

Tutoring Approach

Although I can cater to a wide range of learning styles, my principal approach would be to ask the student questions to prompt them to delve deeper into the subject, as this also means that they will begin to ask themselves these questions as well.
Furthermore, I am a firm believer that practice makes perfect, and so much of the tutoring sessions would be about doing rather than just reading and making notes.
