Over 15 years of experience as a teacher and tutor of Business Studies & Economics, my tutoring experience spans across Key stages 4 and 5, and I have guided students to examination success in A-Level/BTEC/IB across a range of examination boards (AQA/WJEC/Edexcel/IB).

Having previously worked for a major financial services firm, I can also provide coaching for Graduate scheme application and selection processes.

The majority of my tutoring clients have been referred to me via personal recommendation.

All staff working for my employer undergo an enhanced CRB check.

Tutoring Experience

Becoming a teacher following a career in financial services with one of the ‘big four’ consultancy firms, I have in-depth experience of teaching all modules/aspects of the Key Stage 4 and Key stage 5 syllabi and have attended several training courses led by the chief examiners.

I have taught full time at outstanding and prestigious Secondary schools in Liverpool, Dubai & Cheshire since 2009, where I have held the position of head of department for Business Studies & Economics. I currently work at an outstanding private school in the Greater Manchester/Cheshire area.

My lessons have been rated as 'outstanding' on several occasions by external assessors and I have strong added value scores for my students.
