Hello! I’m Thomas, an English educator with over 16 years of UK and international teaching and tutoring experience. I’ve served as Head of English departments and Head of Faculty at top international schools, helping students excel in reading, writing, and exam preparation. Outside of teaching, I enjoy cycling, swimming, drama, exploring new cultures, and reading widely across genres.
I’ve led GCSE and A-Level English faculties, boosting exam success through innovative curricula and targeted student support. I hold a PGCE (QTS) and am currently completing an MA in Educational Leadership. As a former Cambridge English and IELTS Examiner, I bring deep assessment knowledge and proven techniques to help learners rapidly improve their grades and confidence.
My teaching style is interactive and student-focused. Every session is tailored to individual goals—whether it’s mastering essay structure, refining exam skills, or simply building a stronger command of English. I believe in clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and plenty of real-time feedback. My aim is always to foster enthusiasm, independence, and tangible progress from one lesson to the next.
