I graduated from Lancaster University in the summer of 2024 with a Masters Degree in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics, having already achieved grade A*s in my Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics in my A levels in 2020.

Mathematics and physics have been a lifelong passion of mine, and after self reflecting on my key personality traits - enthusiasm, friendliness and empathy - it was clear that tutoring would fit me perfectly.

After going through lock-down learning myself, I am greatly experienced in communicating online and relish every opportunity of which comes my way.

Tutoring Experience

My tutoring experience started when I was very young, year after year being chosen to aid students in the years below me - as well as being seated next to people in my classes in need of help. Since then, University and being able to be surrounded by people of varying abilities allowed my communication skills flourish and gave me a chance to communicate my ideas with those of all sorts of abilities - from lecture halls to library study sessions. This experience alongside my casual academic help of family and friends has solidified my confidence in being a tutor.

Tutoring Approach

The most important aspect of my tutoring philosophy is my patience and in creating a friendly but productive environment. This is always important to me as I believe the best ways to learn are in letting whoever I'm working with to be able to ask any question they have and not be afraid to speak up when they are not confident in a specific area.

I believe in complete tailoring to the specific student, something that is often left behind in the machine of schooling where if one does not keep up with every single point made they can often feel left behind. With my one-on-one help, and sufficient time spent working together, we can iron out any problem and answer any question we set our mind to.
