I work in a busy school in which I teach Maths A level and GCSE, and tutor sixth form pupils. I am married with three teenage and university age daughters and enjoy walking, hockey, cricket and music.
I’ve been teaching for over 30 years across GCSE, IGCSE, A level, IB and Further Maths (AQA level 2 and Edexel A level). I have taught in independent day and boarding schools, boys, girls and coed. I have prepared students for Oxford and Cambridge entrance exams as well as for US SATs and other university entrance exams. I have also marked exam scripts for the OCR exam board.
Very flexible. I can do direct instruction, live mark, go over exam scripts and give feedback, and produce and mark targeted worksheets. Students would do a lot of maths during each session with a mini-test at the end, all properly assessed.
I scaffold all activities so a student grows in confidence and I can cover the widest possible range of topics and levels.
A speciality would be setting and going through exam questions.
