I am a 29 year old qualified teacher who has been teaching GCSE and A-Level Physics for the past five years.
In the past five years I have been teaching GCSE and A-Level Physics for both the EDEXCEL and AQA exam boards. I have previously run tutoring sessions for students targeting 9s and A* grades. I have helped students helped students achieve their offers from universities such as Oxford and Imperial. This year, 12 of my students achieved an A* grade and 9 achieved A grade. Four students are heading off to study at Imperial in Autumn.
I am a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE from the University of Oxford and I completed my Undergraduate Masters degree at the University of Exeter.
I am a flexible tutor who likes to listen and find the strengths and weaknesses of students before creating a 'plan of action' on how our time can be best spent in achieving the student's goals. I have always created a positive rapport with all the students I have previously worked with which has allowed my students to feel confident and achieve their best.
After creating an action plan, I like to review concepts, work though problems and supply practice problems to be done as homework between sessions. This enables us to review in the next session further embedding knowledge as we progress through the action plan.
