I am extremely passionate about working with children and believe that a strong, mutually-respectful relationship is fundamental to learning. I exude this passion when I am teaching and can inspire children and help them to achieve their potential. I have seven years of relevant and recent Primary School teaching and five years of 1:1 private and home-schooling tuition experience.
I have worked as a classroom teacher in Year 2, 3, 4 and 5 and have also worked as a Maths leader for a confederation of schools. In this role, I was responsible for the teaching of Maths across three Central London Schools and supported teachers delivery of the subject. My experience also extends to leading residential trips, delivering staff training and inset days and hosting teaching sessions for parents.
In addition to this, I have experience of supporting children through 11+ tests, Independent School Entrance Exams, CATs, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning exams as well as 7+ and 8+ tests. I have worked with children from UHNW families and assisted children in gaining acceptance from some of London's, and the surrounding area's, best schools including: Westminster School, Eton, The Latymer School, Radnor House, The Hall School Wimbledon, Charterhouse, Cranleigh School, Tiffin School, Camden School for Girls and Tiffin Girls' School.
I form great relationships with children and always seek to incorporate their interests and passions into our learning together. I always model high expectations for my students and prioritise supporting children to develop their confidence in their own skills and abilities. A childish sense of humour also seems to help!
