I have many years teaching experience in Scottish qualifications, covering all stages of Mathematics from National 5 through Higher up to Advanced Higher.
Higher Mathematics has been one of the most enjoyable aspects of my teaching experience over the last 10 years.
The first step towards a good working relationship is determining the needs of the individual and how they would like their sessions to progress. Most students require more confidence in their abilities and a little help in understanding concepts they find difficult.
In other cases a more intensive structured approach is required to ensure success.
Each student is different with different needs and I have strategies and resources that work for all.
