Experienced teacher, Head of Physical Education Department, BSc (Honours) Sport and Physical Education at University of Bedfordshire and QTS through school centred route. I regularly support all students I teach in exceeding their target grades, achieving positive grades with 70% of A-Level students achieve A-A* grades, 55% above previous national averages with students achieving 1 grade above their targets on average.

I can teach and support learners across the OCR and Pearson Edexcel GCSE curriculums as well as AQA A-Level curriculum specialising in Skill Acquisition, Sport Psychology and Biomechanics. Currently teaching remotely and in person.

Previously teacher and Manager of Physical Education Department at an Outstanding inner London school running GCSE and vocational courses and A-Level courses. In addition, I have experience teaching as Head of Physical Education in a British International school internationally and am adept at finding relatable experiences to bring learning to life for a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. I also have Plenty of experience delivering effective teaching and learning online and one-to-one and contributed to my schools teaching and learning and online learning working groups.

Tutoring Approach

Student-centred, highly personalised learning based on the needs and targets of individuals. I take pride in the 'Eureka moment' when students understand Physical Education topics and can coherently articulate them. This drives me to find delivery methods that work for each individual student. Working with open communication, we will explore the techniques that I have learned over my career to beat the exam board by learning strategies and tactics to approach examinations and coursework that are proven to maximise results.
