Tracey has been a great tutor for my daughter. Tracey understands the pace and level of tutoring that works best. Our daughter’s attainment has improved already in a short space of time thanks to the Tracey’s tutoring. My daughter specifically wants to say how good Tracey’s explanations of the challenging topics have been.

Tracey has been wonderful at increasing my daughter's confidence in her maths abilities. Even online she has managed to build a great rapport and my daughter looks forward to her lessons - something that hasn't happened before!
Her lessons appear to be enjoyable, but also show clear and steady progress towards our goal of achieving GCSE Maths this Summer.

Tracey has been tutoring my 14 year old son for about 6 months. She has a friendly and kind approach and very quickly put him at ease. She explains things clearly, has already helped him to build confidence in maths, and helped the pennies to drop on tricky topics. She responds quickly to my questions, and has provided regular feedback on my son’s progress. She has also been adaptable and willing to work on whatever topics we request. In short we are really happy with her tutoring, and would thoroughly recommend her.

Tracey has been invaluable for my daughter's maths tuition. Despite my daughter's reluctance in the first place to receive any private tuition, she is now incredibly pleased she is doing it. She actively looks forward to her session's with Tracey and above all she's clear that it's really helping fill some of those fundamental knowledge gaps that she didn't even realise were missing, but are the crucial building blocks needed for everything else to make sense. Tracey's communication with me has been excellent, keeping me up to date on progress ever step of the way - so glad I found Tracey in the first place - thoroughly recommend!!

Tracey has been tutoring my daughter in Maths as she was struggling, especially from a confidence standpoint. Tracey has restored this in a very short period of time and my daughter benefits extremely from having Tracey on hand to clarify things she doesn’t fully understand in class. She really enjoys her sessions and no longer dreads maths as she has done in the past. We are both extremely grateful to Tracey for everything she has done in this regard and will be using her services going forward, and would not hesitate to recommend her.

Following the difficulties of the last year, I felt that I needed to support my son with his maths at both a key time in his development, but also following a challenging period of home schooling. I can't tell you how amazing it has been to meet Tracey through First Tutors, and I can't emphasise enough, just how brilliant Tracey is.

Tracey is a true professional and extremely aware of how learning can be challenging for different individuals. I wasn't sure how virtual sessions would work, but they work extremely well and without barriers. My son is naturally quiet and had lacked confidence in being able to ask the simple but important questions in his classes. However, working with Tracey, she has created an environment where it is normal to say that you don't understand, and simply ask about what challenges you.

Ever since working with Tracey, my son's confidence has really grown, which has been noted not just by his school teachers in maths, but also in other subjects. He is more aware of his strengths, but more importantly the areas which he finds more challenging, which he can then focus on. This has been a real 'penny dropping' moment for my son and his development, and something that wouldn't have happened without Tracey's support.

The best part of this experience is seeing my son enjoying maths and realising that he is actually very capable in the subject. Its great to see him getting into good habits, showing his workings and challenging himself to improve. He is also extremely proud of having achieved an excellent end-of-year result in his maths exam, something which until now, he has always felt was beyond his reach.

We’re so pleased that we’ve found Tracey. She’s everything that we were looking for in a maths tutor. Our daughter lacks confidence and generally felt quite anxious about her maths ability, but Tracey is very patient and explains everything so clearly that she’s made great progress in a short amount of time. Tracey very quickly identified the areas that our daughter needs to work on, together with her preferred learning style.
