Hello! My name is Veronica, and I've just recently completed my Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I am available to teach English on weekdays and weekends at any time of day.
As I've only just recently graduated, I don't have a lot of experience yet, however, I am very enthusiastic about teaching and with the little experience I do have, I've received great feedback!
I've done 1 on 1 at-home tutoring for both General English and school entrance exam preparations for up to 6 months and have also taught for a few months in 2022 as a substitute teacher at a language school.
To receive my CELTA qualification, I have also gone through intensive training in teaching English at a different language school where I was supervised and assessed by a qualified tutor during my teaching practice.
I believe that a tutor's teaching approach should first and foremost be tailored to their student's needs, and thus, this is what I always aim to do in my lessons. Different people learn in different ways, so my goal is to make the learning process as smooth sailing as possible while also being fun and innovative.
My lessons are always interactive, fun, and enjoyable, as I always make it a point to have my students interact with the language and become active learners rather than just passive. This is why I design each of my lessons to fit the student's needs and objectives. My priority is for my students to become confident in using the English language in their everyday lives!
