Vicky has been working with my son, aged 8, on his literacy since last summer. She has encouraged and built confidence in a very reluctant writer and he has progressed hugely in both the quantity and quality of his writing. He enjoys his lessons with Vicky despite them being on a Saturday morning and she has really helped him to feel pride in his work and believe in his creativity and ability in writing. I would recommend Vicky without hesitation particularly for a child who is a little reluctant and lacks confidence in writing.

Vicky has tutored our son Tom on a very tight schedule for a very hard 11+ entrance exam (Kings School Chester).
Tom has ability but was failing to meet the standards needed to pass the above exam due to certain restraints in his schooling. Vicky, in just 6-8 weeks of 1 1/2hrs per week on Friday evenings after school (not the easiest time to get a child's attention), not only managed to achieve the required standard which led to Tom to gain his place at the chosen school but, also had Tom actually looking forward to his tuition. We do feel that it was expertise and patience in encouraging and praising Tom that led to his achievement. We will continue to use Vicky's services up until August so that Tom enters senior school level backed up with the right knowledge and full of confidence which Vicky has a knack of imparting. Many thanks for your input so far Vicky -We're thrilled!
