I graduated at Manchester University with a BSc Honours Mathematics and worked in IT until recently when I started Maths tutoring.
Tutoring Experience
I started tutoring my 3 children who studied Mathematics up to A level and all attained A grades. I helped them throughout their studies and this helped me keep in touch with the subject. Over recent years I have tutored at all levels up to A level and have had very positive feedback.
Tutoring Approach
All my tutoring is tailored to the needs of the pupil. After an initial assessment, I work with the pupil to bring them up to speed in any weak areas and if required, go back to basics. As exams approach, I suggest past papers and improvement in exam technique.
NOTE For GCSE, I only accept pupils already in or approaching year 11.
