I work as a Maths teacher at a reputed mainstream secondary school. I ensure that the students have a good understanding of all the important concepts and logic involved in the subject. I have a friendly and supportive approach and seek to make lessons both enjoyable and exam oriented. Many of my students have gone on to achieve excellent results.

Tutoring Experience

I have worked at independent, SEN and mainstream schools over the last ten years. I tutor 1:1 on weekday evenings and weekends and have been tutoring for the last 15 years. I have tutored students from KS2 to A levels from mainstream, SEN and private schools.

Tutoring Approach

I am very patient and make sure that the student understands relevant concepts and logic with clarity. I tailor my teaching methods depending on student's ability and skills. I use the textbooks endorsed by the exam boards for teaching. I use past papers for exam techniques. I cover the topics as per the specifications mentioned in the respective exam boards ( AQA, OCR, Edexcel). Homework( exam style questions) is provided at the end of the lesson to encourage revision and independent learning. Mock test based on past exam papers are conducted to check the progress of learning.
