Waqar's Feedback

Both children did well in Maths GCSE (grade 8 & 9) but have found the jump to A level Maths a little challenging - this is when we asked Waqar to step in and help. As a teacher and examiner he has helped my children understand concepts in a clear, methodical and memorable way. Both children say Waqar is very patient and supportive and has certainly improved their confidence and skills which have been reflected in achieving As in all of their school tests/homework so far. We would all highly recommend Waqar as an excellent Maths tutor.

Waqar is excellent at simplifying complex information to deepen understanding. He tailors his lessons to meet the individuals learning needs. Builds an excellent working relationship with students, very easy to get along with. Punctual, flexible and keeps the parent informed of progress. Would recommend!

Mr Waqar has been teaching A-Level Maths for my daughter since March, around 1 month now. She is happy with the way the classes are conducted. Mr Waqar has been instrumental in helping my daughter to fill in the gaps where she was struggling as he explains them really well so she can understand. Mr Waqar is constantly in touch and gives feedback to my daughter spontaneously and is able to guide her as he identifies where she goes wrong while she solves the sums. He also gives me feedback in between as to where she stands. My daughter loves his teaching and feels more confident specially in topics she did not understand previously. He also sets homework sometimes when he feels she needs more practice on the topic he tutored at the class. So all the sums that she struggles with as well as all other difficulties she finds before the class, are solved during the class. She feels more confident now and understands how to improve. Mr Waqar is very knowledgeable. My daughter says he identifies and tells where she goes wrong and uses resources to make simpler.
We chose Mr Waqar because he is presently an A-level Maths teacher and also because of his superb educational/professional background added with him being an Examiner at various boards. We are happy we found him.
My daughter is very comfortable and happy with his teaching. Mr Waqar is also very accommodative and flexible when it comes to lessons.

Teaches not only revision but also great work ethic. Kind, resilient and attentive to maths. From previous experiences of having a maths tutor in the past, this is ultimately the best tutor. finds multiple ways in which to explain hard to understand ideas or other methods which are easier making understanding maths easier and more interesting, his lessons are very interactive and you learn quite a lot.
His lessons have made me alot more confident in maths and harder questions, I was able to move from doing grade 6-7 questions to doing grade 9 questions without fear and wording which is all down to resilience and breaking the question down in little chunks which makes the question easier, a skill which I learned from the great teachings of Waqar . Also he taught me a good work ethic which many teachers do not have the time to teach, they don't explain the importance of having a great work ethic and that having a good work ethic is very important to not only maths but also life and working in jobs. Moreover, after I had improved my work he didn't stop there and told me that I could improve even more, because we as humans are always evolving, because if we didn't we would die out.
Also the price is great compared to other tutors which overcharge. All in all, the greatest tutor I've ever had.

Waqar is a great Tutor he knows the contents of the subject very well, he is very knowledgeable and has great teaching skills and methods.which shows in his lessons with my son.My son was very happy from the first session with Waqar and was full of praises for him,my son says “he makes it very easy to follow and understand” the topic he struggles in.As a parent it’s important for me to have feedback from tutors as what my son has done and what he needs to do to improve as parents play a big roll in in their children’s education.Waqar always gives me feedback and explains home work he has left for the next session.Waqar thank you for everything so far I’m sure with your help Anees will do well and get his grades.
