I currently work as a Reservoir Production Enhancement Specialist within the Oil & Gas Industry and have been tutoring Maths on a part time basis (primary school to advanced highers) for 25 years in England, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Qatar and most recently Scotland. I graduated in 2007 with a Masters in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
My teaching experience began when I was studying for my GCSE's at Westminster College, London. I then carried this on right through my A-levels, Undergraduate level, Postgraduate level and during my professional career where I taught primary school, secondary school, GCSE and A-level Mathematics.
I believe every student is different and I draw my teaching skills and approach from their character, because what works for one person may not necessarily work for another person. What is important for me is making the students feel comfortable and having a good rapport with them. This way, they will feel at ease and able to open up and ask questions. I deliver to my students with loads of patience.
