I am currently living in Stroud, Gloucestershire but moving to London next month to begin a new teaching job. I will be looking to tutor in the evenings and at weekends. I have a passion for food, art and football. I also like to read a lot and like to travel. I love experiencing new cultures and learning new languages.

Tutoring Experience

I have had quite a varied teaching experience. I have worked in private language schools in South Korea, and also a state maintained school teaching young learners English language. I have worked for a UK based summer school and also a University teaching adults learners English language. I possess a Cambridge CELTA so I am a well qualified English Language Teacher able to teach both young learners and adults. I hope to teach Secondary School English literature in the near future, but in the meantime I am happy to continue teaching English language to both native English speakers and students whose first language is not English. I also possess a Bachelor's degree in History and high A-level grades in English literature.

Tutoring Approach

I like to build a positive rapport with my students, and also to establish the learning needs, study goals and interests beforehand. I believe this creates a positive learning environment and keeps my students motivated to learn and meet their goals.
