I am currently finishing my PhD at the University of Exeter, which looks at the history of Ramsay MacDonald, Britain's first Labour prime minister (Removed). So, my area of expertise is the interwar period (1918-1939) including (but not limited to) topics such as the League of Nations and the road to the Second World War.
I have been a history tutor at the University of Exeter for the past three years, in which role I adapt content to suit the needs of my students. My success as a tutor meant that last year I was promoted to the role of Lead Tutor. This entails liaising with senior staff to construct modules, and putting together teaching material to disseminate to the tutors on a module.
I also volunteer at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, where I engage with students of all ages.
Although I have been teaching for three years, I have had to adapt content every term for new students. There is no "one size fits all" approach. Let me help you find the way you learn best, and we'll achieve your goals together.
