I was looking for a maths tutor for my 12 year old in preparation of 13+ exam. Lam’s profile attracted my attention. After a trial lesson, I decided that both kids (12 and 9) should learn with him on maths and he should also teach my 12 year old physics. Here are some qualities that makes me believe in him as a maths and science tutor
- methodical, structured and teach by question types
- always teach from the essence so kids can apply in different situations
- sense of humour, stress free lessons
- resourceful, flexible and very responsive

My nephew has had a couple of lessons with Fat Lam and has raved about each session. He has barely had a teacher at school for a term and says he has learnt more in one session with Fat Lam than he has in a year at school. He says the pace is right, the explanations are great and he really enjoys the lessons which are delivered locally amd and in a safe place. 5 out of 5 for Fat Lam, i can definitely recommend and we will continue to use his support throughout GCSE'sThank you very much.
