I work as a full-time Chemical Engineer. I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree (MEng) in Chemical Engineering. I took the A Levels in 2011 scoring A* in Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. I have a deep passion for motivating, teaching and inspiring students. I hope to help weaker students improve and get their desired grade. At the same time, challenge stronger students with harder material to ensure they achieve the top grade in their examination.
I have more than 12 years of teaching experience where I have:
Provided A levels tutoring for Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
Provided GCSE tutoring for Additional Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
Worked in KUMON learning centre teaching Maths to children between age 5 and 15.
My approach is very flexible and I always tailor it appropriately to my students’ needs. I can help with anything in maths/physics/chemistry, by giving intuitive and clear explanations. If I feel my tutee is missing some fundamental understanding necessary to understand something more difficult, I will fill that in first. I’ll work through a few example questions with my tutees, then leave them to do several more on their own whilst guiding them if they need help.
