I graduated from the London School of Economics (LSE) in Maths and Economics with a First Class Honours. I completed Maths and Further Maths at A-Levels achieving A* in both subjects as well as highest grades in core maths modules in A2.
I have 10+ years of experience tutoring students of all ages and abilities. I have received very positive feedback from both parents and teachers on how my students have significantly improved since they started tuition with me. Most of my A-Level students have received the grades required for Russel group universities whilst my younger students have received top grades in their class. My key goal is to ensure students feel confident when practicing Maths themselves and I continuously receive feedback from parents on how they have seen their children’s confidence levels grow since they’ve started tuition.
Initially I will understand my students learning style and what level they are currently performing at. This helps me to determine which teaching approach to use and plan my lessons to focus on content they need the most support with. All of my lessons are very interactive and include me explaining the methods/concepts, practice exercises and mini tests. So far this approach has been very effective and I’ve received positive feedback from both students and parents. My goal for every lesson is to ensure the student leaves feeling comfortable to complete exercises themselves. Depending on the student, sometimes I will give them homework to further practice what they’ve learnt.
