I am a Maths and Finance graduate with over 4 years of tutoring experience. I am passionate about teaching and find supporting struggling students to be rewarding.
At GCSE, I was awarded an A* in Maths and went on to study the subject further for A levels and eventually for Undergraduate studies. I am easy-going and enthusiastic at what I do.
I am flexible in my hours and I offer both online and in-person tutoring. My goal as a tutor is to help students gain confidence and help them achieve their full potential.
I have been tutoring for over 4 years in Maths at levels KS2, KS3 and GCSE, and have helped prepare primary school children for the Eleven Plus exams. I have also tutored in a professional school setting for students looking to achieve grades 7-9 in their GCSE's.
I have previously worked as an Administrative Assistant in a tuition centre which helped me develop my organisational skills and taught me to keep records of test scores and the student's weakest points.
My students range from school children to adult learners.
I believe that every student requires a different teaching approach and tailored lessons to fit their needs. I offer weekly homework so that the student may practice over the week independently, which we can then review together in the next session.
I also provide regular assessments to so that students can push themselves and are familiar with timed conditions.
For students who have upcoming exams, I focus on tackling exam questions and identifying weaknesses.
For online tutoring, I use a whiteboard to work out questions and offer explanations, whilst also checking in on the student.
