His experience and knowledge make him a clear top choice for a tutor. His approach is exactly what a parent looks for: (1) He takes ownership of the student’s learning journey and requirements, removing this “burden” from the parent; (2) He believes in teaching math concepts from strong foundations for deep understanding, instead of just a “11+ checklist” approach which can result in superficial understanding; (3) He is passionate about maths and this translates through his teaching to encourage a real enthusiasm for maths in his students. A few months ago I hadn't done maths in two years and needed to pass an to AS level exam with no calculator. I messaged Amir for help and he filled in all the gaps in my knowledge and took time to make sure I understood the content. Amir also created notes that contained all the questions and explanations and annotated them which worked very well for me as I'm a visual learner. This also meant I could look at them in my own time whenever I had an issue. Overall, he helped me a lot and I wouldn't have been able to pass the exam without him. Thank you!

Having helped my brother achieve an A* in UFP maths at CATS College London, Amir came highly recommended. From the first session it was clear why he has such a good reputation. I've had many maths tutors and teachers over the years, Amir's maths knowledge and ability to explain concepts is unmatched. There are some concepts that I have been failing to understand for a long time which Amir has been able to help me understand in a single lesson. Furthermore, his lessons are fun and engaging.

I often send him questions in between lessons that I need help with, he has always taken the time to get back to me uploading detailed explanations onto an online workbook which he created for me (which also has all our lesson notes which I can access anywhere). I was lucky to find Amir when looking for a Math tutor for my daughter. He is professional, motivated, loves what he is doing and has a plan of studies. Amir is a great person and an excellent math tutor. He expertly structured our preparation for the 11+ exams. He identified weak points of my daughter and started working on them. His theoretical explanations were clear and easy to understand. The test papers that he provided helped to practice the acquired knowledge and get familiar with the 11+ exams and testing procedure. My 10 years old daughter loves lessons with Amir. We are very happy with his work and approach.
