Having read Economics and Management as an undergraduate at Oxford University and Economics at Masters level at Cambridge, I am now working as an Economist.
I also achieved top grades at A-Level in Economics, French, Maths, Further Maths and Business Studies.
My strengths lie in Economics, Business and Mathematics, and I have experience in providing tuition across all three disciplines to people within a range of different ages.
I am extremely organised and meticulous, but also am friendly and a great communicator.
I have over 10 years experience in tutoring and mentoring students of all ages, ranging from Key Stage 2 and 3 and entrance exams to GCSE, A-Level and degree levels. I have been fortunate enough to work with a range of students from diverse backgrounds and in a range of subjects.
I have a positive approach to the subjects I teach and I seek to work with the student in order to understand what they want to achieve, and then I tailor my approach and the classes to suit their needs. I seek to understand what each student wants to achieve and their learning style. This enables me to design my teaching style and the class content in order to meet their individual needs and unleash their full potential.
I believe in applying theoretical concepts to real life, tangible examples and am proficient in making complex topics understandable.
Communication and feedback is, I have found, integral to being able to work together in order to meet the students needs and creating an atmosphere which is conducive to learning.
