I'm a registered veterinary nurse with experience of teaching level 3 animal management in a college.
I am confident in teaching all science subjects up-to GCSE and then Biology and Chemistry up to A-Level as I use those subjects every day at work.
I am also confident in teaching Maths and English (both language and literature) from primary age (as I feel this is a key time to grasp the basics, allowing students to flourish academically) up to GCSE level as I use those subjects every day at work and in my daily life.
I can also provide support to those studying for the Level 3 qualification in Animal Management or a similar course, as well as both vet and vet nursing students with elements of study for qualification.
I have been an informal tutor for several years, and have experience working as a college teacher where I regularly assisted students who found subjects difficult to grasp. I also act as a clinical coach for student vet nurses while in practice.
I have a three step process;
First, I assess what support is needed, by completing oral and written assessments with the student.
Second, I provide the student with the support they require.
and;
Third, I re-assess what support is needed, by completing oral and written assessments with the student - if more support is needed then these three steps are repeated.
