I completed my PhD in Mechanical Engineering and am currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Brunel University London.

I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering (BEng) with First-Class Honours from Brunel University London.

Tutoring Experience

• I have been a Maths and Science tutor for over 10 years, teaching students both face-to-face and online across a wide range of age groups and academic levels, including secondary school and university students.
• I have tutored Mathematics at various tuition centres as well as privately, covering GCSE (Foundation and Higher) and A-Level content, where I gained extensive experience.
• A-Level modules I teach include Pure Mathematics (Year 1/AS and Year 2), Statistics, Mechanics (Year 1/AS and Year 2), Core Pure Mathematics (Further Maths), Calculus, and more.
• I also teach International Baccalaureate (IB) Mathematics at both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL).
• I have held Graduate Teaching Assistant roles in Mathematics and related subjects at Brunel University, where I led seminars for Year 1 and Year 3 Engineering students.
• I was involved in Maths and numeracy workshops at the Brunel Academic Skills (ASK) service, where I supported students from various academic years in developing the independent learning and academic skills they need to succeed.
• In addition, I provide support and guidance with university and school assignments and reports.
• I also have expertise in various engineering software tools, including ANSYS Fluent.

Tutoring Approach

To keep it simple:

I have in-depth knowledge of Mathematics and Science subjects, and I use a variety of techniques to explain and deliver valuable information to students efficiently.

Note 1: The 2/5 feedback was only due to my limited availability and not being able to offer as many lessons as the student requested.

Note 2: I have been providing online tuition throughout my teaching career—even before the pandemic—and I have all the necessary tools and resources to deliver online lessons just as effectively as face-to-face sessions.
