I'm a classical composer and pianist, preparing for my masters degree in Composition. I specialize in composition, arrangement and music theory. I also teach piano from beginner to upper intermediate; and can help developing a variety of musical skills: including ear-training, harmony and counterpoint, instrumentation, notation software,etc...

Tutoring Approach

I have a flexible teaching approach, with focus on the individual interests of the student, and helping developing performance confidence and fundamental musicianship skills. I am willing to adapt to each student's goals, and find the most efficient and stimulating method of helping develop these skills. I will do my best to keep you motivated and appreciate your own progress.

I can focus on piano technique (touch, posture, arpeggios, scales and similar patterns...), learning repertoire, preparing exam pieces, developing aural skills, analysis and musical composition. Besides music theory, I can provide guidance in the practical creative process of composition, recurring to varied creative tasks of increased difficulty. Thorough analysis of the classical masters can be included for the most advanced students. If you are curious about a particular musical technique, feel free to ask!!

Lesson times are variable, ranging from 45min to 2hrs - depends on the student's interests, learning needs and availability. Prices are tailored proportionately to the time of teaching involved.
