I am a fully qualified Math teacher with over 15 years of classroom teaching experience in the UK. I like helping students to understand maths and to pass exams in both GCSE Math as well as Functional Skills Math. I enjoy working with students of a wide range of ability and I like making math easier to understand. I am enthusiastic and determined to help my students to progress. I have tutored for seven years and have helped my students to achieve excellent results. I have a Master’s in Math Education, and I am very up to date with the GCSE Math specification, Functional Skills specification and exam success strategies. I work part-time and this leaves me a lot of time to ensure that I can tailor make my tuition to the students that I work with. I tutor from my home or online. I am available at the moment only on Saturdays.

Tutoring Experience

I have over 15 years of teaching experience and 7 years of tutoring experience. My results have always been excellent. I am available to tutor KS4 GCSE Maths. and really enjoy helping students to improve their understanding of Maths as well as their success in exams. I have tutored mature learners as well as school aged learners and saw 100% passes with all of my tutees.

Tutoring Approach

I am keen to work with students to help them to improve their understanding of Maths and to improve their success with exams. First session is free if you wish to work with me on a weekly basis. Happy to work on an 'as needed basis' i.e. single sessions are available, no need to commit to months of sessions unless that is your wish. My aim is to build confidence and share strategies which make Math easier to understand and exams easier to pass. Availability only a Saturday at the moment.
