I am a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher of Humanities subjects that enjoys helping students reach their potential. I have led debating clubs, Bar Mock Trials and educational visits oversees. I am particularly interested in human and animal rights and completed my Masters focusing on discrimination and religion. I relish learning new subjects and reading new books. I am also a keen gardener and baker.

Tutoring Experience

Having worked in a high-achieving grammar school, and in my current post in a comprehensive setting, I have a wealth of experience in teaching students of all abilities. Whilst a grade can never be guaranteed, I have earned a reputation for getting the best out of the students in my classes.

Tutoring Approach

As with the teaching of my classes at school, I always hope to do more than just teach students to improve academically; I aim to make the sessions as engaging as possible to encourage love of learning. Tutor sessions can focus on improving knowledge of content, or improving individual skills.
