Lesley has been tutoring my daughter for 4 months and has made a tremendous difference to my daughter’s confidence and knowledge of A’ level Spanish. She is an extremely competent tutor with a perfect approach that is both friendly and informed, responding to my daughter’s requests promptly and anticipating her needs.

Lesley has been able to provide challenge and support that has stretched my daughter and personalised her learning that is not always possible in a school class. She has a holistic view of my daughter’s needs and has been helpful in providing support in the areas of reading, listening, writing and speaking as well as the literature element of the course. Lesley is very knowledgeable of the exam board requirements and how to maximise the marks to achieve the grades. Her flexible approach has meant she has been able to adapt to support her with HW and exam preparation.

The help she has given has supported my daughter to improve considerably in a short time. There were unsolicited comments from her teachers about my daughter’s ‘depth’ of knowledge and understanding following only a few lesson from Lesley.

In short she has maximised learning and understanding in my daughter’s weaker areas and provided motivation and encouragement that has been reflected in better test scores and homework grades in preparation for her final exams.

Lesley is an excellent tutor. She has been supporting my daughter (currently Y10) as she approaches her French GCSE and I have seen her progress in leaps and bounds: both in terms of her written skills and speaking. So much so that my daughter is now keen to continue her French studies to A Level. As well as helping advance her learning, I am told the lessons are hugely enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend Lesley.

Lesley has been a superb French A Level teacher for our son from day one. Lesley tutored my son for his French and Spanish GCSEs, taken at Y10. She was quickly able to understand and accommodate his needs, and to instil in him the confidence he needed for the exams. He got excellent results and I am sure that Lesley had a huge part in this.

Lesley is an excellent tutor. She always prepares thorough and helpful documents on subjects I ask for. She’s also had a significant impact on my writing skills in French, by teaching me essay writing methods and expanding my vocabulary shes bumped me up to A/A* essays. Lesley has provided weekly French lessons for our 15yo son who is in year 2eme/Year 11.
She has provided structured lessons, guidance and support to prepare him for his French A-Level over a 9 month period.
She has provided lesson feedback, been very responsive to questions/messages, been extremely flexible in helping him prepare for his exams, and arranged her time so that she could be present at his French oral presentation (at the exam location's insistence).

Lesley has been tutoring our daughter online since September 2022. Lesley understood very quickly what we needed (sole teacher for GSCE French), and has been very organised in her lesson planning and with setting homework.
