I'm a qualified Health Psychologist and Doctor of Health Science (PhD).
I am available both online and in person to support individuals from secondary school up to MSc level to achieve their goals in studying psychology. I feel particularly passionately about supporting those who feel that their learning has been influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic.
I am a friendly and reliable tutor who is able to tailor sessions to what is important to you/your child. Whether that be aiming for a certain grade, or wanting to understand a specific topic better, I can help.
I have extensive tutoring experience of secondary and university students and I am available to help with tutoring on specific topics, general academic skills, essay structure, exam technique, and more. If there is something psychology-related that you/your child is struggling with, please reach out and I'll try to help. I have also had experience teaching on the A Level psychology curriculum on an ad hoc, specialist basis.
I am also available to proof-read/feedback on coursework and assignments. This also applies to University personal statements and job applications in the psychology sector.
During my clinical work I have gained extensive experience working with young people with additional needs such as Autism and ADHD. I am also experienced in working with young people with low mood and/or anxiety. If this is getting in the way of your child's learning I can hold that in mind and introduce skills to overcome the impact on their psychology studies.
Friendly, professional, and relaxed, I want to work with you/your child to tailor an approach that works for you. Please get in touch for an initial discussion.
