Hi, my name's Rob and I'm a fully qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). I have been teaching secondary French, Spanish and English as a Foreign Language since 2013 following completion of my PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education) at Bristol University.

Tutoring Experience

I am currently a Senior Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, and I have plenty of experience teaching my specialist subjects from Key Stage 3 (age 11) to GCSE, A-Level, and pre-university level. I have also taught conversational French, Spanish and English lessons to professionals from large companies such as Lindt, Total, and the French military, and also adult one to one tutoring.

Tutoring Approach

I am flexible in my approach to tutoring, and I adapt my teaching to suit your goals, whether they are to improve your grammar, writing, speaking or reading skills.

I am equally happy to deliver sessions online, or face to face tutoring. I have gained a lot of online teaching experience delivering lessons to whole year groups of 200 students, as well as one to one sessions, for over a year during lockdown and feel very comfortable working in this way.
